need a cleaner for the older adobe files, the DC one isnt working.

Im having problems creating pdfs and when it tries in repair mode, it fails, cannot locate itw own files.

Where can I din the installation file for Adobe Acobat pro 8.0 ?

As you need the cleaner tool to remove the Adobe file, please download it from here Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

You can download the Adobe Acrobat 8 installer file from here Download Acrobat 8 and Acrobat 9

Also, you have mentioned above that you are experiencing an issue in creating PDFs.

Could you please provide more details about what exactly happens when you try to create PDF?

Do you get any error message?

I have downloaded that cleaner, its only for DC and 9.0, not 8.0.

Im trying to complete a clean install, is there a cleaner that your aware of, I dont believe that one in the link works.

Hi.

Ive managed to scrub or uninstall the app (adobe acrobat 8.1) as it was corrupted.

Im going through the install and am getting the same error message (1935). Im having problems with the installer exe file in the set up files.

Does anyone know where to obtain an installer to complete a 'clean install", this one says its a 'bootstrapper' installer or something like that.

Acrobat 8 is no longer supported by any new computer.

What is the computer and OS you are trying to install Acrobat 8 on.

The product's life ended November 3, 2011. That is over 7 years ago.

Ive been using it all along

In fact, when I run the installer, it install the application fine until a 1935 error occurs.

Before I press OK and it backtracks, I keep that running because I can use the program in order to create or bind togethor the odd .pdfs I need to send.

It still installs on a 62 bit machine much like all other 32 bt applications. In fact, there is no difference in todays product except they moved the toolbar to icons.....whoa big update in 11 yrs.
