I have an AIR Application that needs the Administrator privileges to use some files of Windows. When I run as Administrator all my code works. But when I run as user who doesn't have the admin privileges my code fails. I put exename.exe.manifest file in exe path that also not work.

Hi,I recently updated my AIR SDK to support the application developed with flex & air for iOS 11. In my app, earlier i used to connect to login with DNS name. It was working fine. After upgrading the sdk, i am not able to login into the application, I get "#2032" error in mobile device. But if i run it from AIR simulator from flash builder it works fine. Is there any thing i am missing for ios11 ?

Hi,My app is downloading SWF assets from the web, and stores them locally in the ApplicationStorage directory. Some of them contain embedded fonts. If I load the SWF from ApplicationStorage, I get the following error when I try to register the font class it contains:Error #1508: The value specified for argument font is invalid.If I place the same SWF in the local directory of my app, all works fine. I did some research and it seems to be related to some security issues. I am writing a mobile app and there is a horizontal list at the bottom of the app that the user can horizontally scroll through a row of photos.  I have a custom itemrenderer in the list to just upload and display photos based on a url value.  There will never be more than 24 photos, so I thought that it wouldn't hurt too badly to set useVirtualLayout to false so that all the photos would get rendered at once and the user wouldn't have to wait on images loading while they scrolled.  The problem is that the List is rendering the itemrenderers off screen first, and the first three that a user can see are rendering last.  I have two itemrenderer questions: 1. Can you force the order that itemrenderers render?  For instance, can you set useVirtualLayout to false, and then tell AIR to render the itemRenderers starting at 1 and ending at 24? 2. I know that you can turn virtualization on or off so that itemrenderers are recycled, or one is created for every object.&nb

We found that if we call the drawTrianglesInstanced function only once, it functioned normally, but if we call the function multiple times, we will get weird, unexpected results. However, in games, many objects have to be drawn more than once(for example, the shadow map algorithm), so this bug has seriously affected the normal usage of this feature. Hi,I have an application that runs on Windows and MAC.  The last release of the application was signed in February of this year without any issues on both of the target patforms.  Now, when signing the latest release on MAC I am getting an error.code object is not signed at allIn subcomponent: Path to application /Contents/Frameworks/Adobe AIR.frameworkI am using a DigiCert extended validation token to sign the code.I relaize this is pretty obscure, but will appreciate any ideas on how to solve this issue.Best,C.S.

OK, I finally got my webservices converted from XML webservices to RemoteObject AMF services on my local machine and it is working like a charm, fast as lightning.  But this is a mobile app and the database and services need to be moved to a server, and I am struggling to get everything set up properly to communicate remotely.  Here is what I have done: 1) I moved the folder containing my services to my webserver, it is called mytestservice2. It contains four php files - index.php, HalfService.php, VOService.php, VOCompsService.php.  Index.php is the important one as it exposes the Zend AMF endpoint.  When I use my browser to browse to http://www.billspencere.com/mytestservice2/index.php, it displays "Zend AMF Endpoint".  So I know that PHP and Zend include_paths are all set properly to locate Zend AMF. 2) I altered my services-config.xml file to point to the new endpoint in the URI at the bottom of the file.  Here is the code: <?xml version="1.0" encod

globalToScreen - AIR Bug in Multy-monitor(4) configuration under Windows 10

Hi,The rectangle we set as origin to place the native popOver of photo gallery (CameraRollBrowseOptions) as not same units.The rectangle I set is relative to my stage, in px, usually myButtonSprite.getRect(stage) but the result rectangle is doubled.Native side seems to need "pt" unit (screen is 1024x768 for iPad retina, whatever pixel resolution), but AS3 side is pixel-based (2048*1536)May you confirm it's anormal ?If point-based origin is the desired ans definitive process, how can i have the screen size in "native unit" ?

Hello,I actually develop a game for mobile with adobe air. My framerate is at 60 Fps.The game works very well on PC but on mobile there is a random lag which cause performance issue.I have corrected most of performance problems with Adobe Scout but here, this is really random : A Movie Clip can take 1ms to rendering while 100 Frames and suddenly for one frame it's take 18ms !This problem occurs with any MovieClip.This is a capture of Adobe Scout to view the problem : As my game is constantly on scrolling this is hassle.Can someone help me ? I have several apps that have a drawing function that includes a way to save a screenshot. AIR 23 and earlier, this function works correctly both in iOS and Android versions. With AIR 25 and 26, it stops on the var cameraRoll line and goes no further. The Adobe API reference shows it works with AIR 25 and older with no change in the examples. What am I missing? I've tried to create a FLA project AIR for IOS and Android. I've imported a video (File/Import/Load external video with a componant). I choose a skin for the player. Then I publish the apk file (I've included the video file into project in the publish settings) and install it on my device.Problem : I've got a blank screen. The player video doesn't appear. We're trying to set the uses-sdk setting on the Android Manifest. But Adobe AIR seems to be ignoring this and not copying it over. I have other custom items in the manifest, and they are being copied over. Right now preparing content from Animate is a multistep process that requires  1. specific naming conventions between symbols and linkage  2. exporting a swf  3. exporting a sprite sheet  4. modifying game data files that bundle the exported assets together with game specific propertiesEach of these stages are opportunities for human error and should be automatable.
