URGENT: Adobe Acrobat API Services – JWT to OAuth Migration Deadline Approaching
What's happening
Adobe updated the authentication method for Adobe Acrobat API Services, replacing the legacy Service Account (JWT) credential with the newer OAuth Server-to-Server credential. JWT credentials officially reached end of life on June 30, 2025 and are no longer supported.
Adobe is now automatically converting any remaining JWT credentials to OAuth Server-to-Server credentials. If your integrations still rely on JWT credentials — including those using Microsoft Power Automate — they will stop working on May 13, 2026.
Adobe has been sending email notices about this change for the past two years, so many of you may already be aware. We're posting here out of an abundance of caution — with the deadline approaching, we want to ensure that no one is caught off guard.
What happens if you don't migrate
-
Your integrations or custom applications will fail immediately.
-
They cannot be restored without migrating to OAuth Server-to-Server credentials.
-
Your team will need to complete the migration before functionality can be recovered.
What to do
Migration is a straightforward two-step process and we strongly encourage your team to complete this as soon as possible to avoid any disruption to your integrations.
