Hey everyone!

We’ve got some exciting updates to share—whether you’re editing a podcast, recording interviews, or creating content for social, these new features are here to help you move faster and make more polished content.

Here’s what’s new:

Edit video like a doc
Now you can upload, transcribe, and edit video in Adobe Podcast Studio—just like editing text. It's perfect for video interviews, talking head clips, and anything you want to clean up or share quickly.

Transcribe in Hindi (and 6 other languages)

Creators have been asking for more language support—and we've been listening. You can now transcribe your audio and video content in Hindi using Adobe Podcast Studio

Turn your audio into scroll-stopping social videos

Want to share your podcast on Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn? Try audiograms—short, animated videos with captions and waveforms. Just upload your audio and we’ll generate it for you. Super simple.

All of this is available now in Adobe Podcast Studio.

Give it a try and let us know what you think—we’d love to hear how you’re using these new tools! Drop your feedback or questions in the comments below.

Any plans to add Mandarin+Cantonese/other Chinese dialect transcription support? I loved the quality enchancement, purchased the sub on a whim, but was really disappointed right after to learn my mother tongues are unsupported

    I have a question:

When I'm editing the ecording through the  transcript, I need to add a space of silence in some places, especially after I edit something out. I want to just copy/paste an existing transcript pause, but it doesn't work and the reason I'm using Adobe Podcast is so I don't have to bring it into another program to fix it. I've seen other forums where it says you right click to insert a pause, but that's not an option on my MacBook Pro running on Chrrome. Am I missing something or does Podcast not give an option for this?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi @cara5CF1 , great question!

At the moment, Adobe Podcast Studio doesn’t have a built‑in “Insert pause/silence” command in the transcript editor, and copying/pasting an existing pause from the transcript currently isn’t supported.

Workaround: use short “gap clips” (silence) from your Music collection

If you need intentional space after an edit, you can add silence as a small audio clip and place it exactly where you want:

    1. Create a few silent clips
    (e.g., 0.25s, 0.5s, 1s, 2s).
    Fastest option:
    • Record a few seconds of “room tone” with your mic, trim to the durations you want, and export WAVs.

    2. Upload them to Studio → your Music collection
Give them clear names like Silence_250ms, Silence_500ms, Silence_1s.

    3. Insert where needed
In your project, place the playhead between words/sentences and add the clip by clicking on plus (+) button from your music collection:

    4. Keep a reusable set.
Because these live in your collection, you can reuse them across projects without bouncing to another editor.

I know this isn't the most elegant solution for inserting gaps, but this is a workaround for now 🙂 In the meantime, i've passed this request along to the team (ability to insert a pause/gap clip). Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be happy to help!

Hi Harmony, just to say thanks for moving the download button to the bottom of the UI. Makes it easier to download without having to scrolling up and down like you had to in the previous release.

Are there any plans to add support for other languages as well — for example, Polish?

Hi, I'm trying to upload .wav files for transcription, but I keep getting this message:

"File not supported. Convert your file to mp3 or wav and try again"

I've tried converting to mp3 but it doesn't work either. I've even tried uploading audio files I have previously uploaded successfully for transcription on Adobe and those get the same message, which makes me think it's not a problem with the file itself, but with Adobe. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Thank you

Hi @dumpster_pony, could you email me one of the files that isn't transcribing? I'm not able to reproduce this issue on my end, so if you're able to share one of the files that would be super helpful. You can reach me at hjiroudek@adobe.com Thanks!

Hi @Maia_W are you trying to export your entire project as an audiogram, or just a clip? Could you share a link to your project so I can take a look? You can email me at hjiroudek@adobe.com

    Thank you!
Are there any keyboard shortcuts that I can use when editing the transcript? I need to add in the names of the different speakers so I am pausing often, then having to mouse click on the edit button. I really wish there were keyboard shortcuts to start editing, and then save the change and move on. Also, keyboard shortcuts for skipping sentences, paragraphs while playing would be nice.

What did you do with the previous standard features that I used on a regular basis? I can no longer find how to download a simple text transcription. txt file. This product is no longer valuable to me. translation to other languages is not helpful if you cannot download the files.

@Kristy, Podcast Host, you'll want to use the Export button at the top of the page in Studio:

Let me know if for any reason you can't access the export options. Thanks!
