With MAX 2020 we now have Audion 13.0.11 available for download from the Creative Cloud Desktop application. This update includes several bug fixes, performance, and stability improvements.
To update Audition, open the Creative Cloud desktop application and click Update. If you don't see any option for updates, click Help > Check for updates.
Here is what we've fixed in version 13.0.11
- Effects Rack buttons might be misaligned or truncated.
- The application might crash after clicking Stop in Timed Record Mode if the playhead goes out of the editor panel time range.
The following drawing issues with macOS 11 are now fixed:
- Peak files might have inaccuracies in the multitrack.
- When spectral view is moved there might be redrawing issues.
- Waveform drawing might be incorrect if there's a selection and the user switch out and then back into Audition.
- There might be issues with artifacts on waveform when making selections.
Recently we've also added multiple new features to Adobe Audition.
- Faster scanning of third-party audio plugins.
- Ability to relink files and associated session clips using the Files Panel.
- Default audio device switching for macOS.
