P: Enhance Details broken - All-black preview and final render

I was super excited about the new Enhance Details feature rolling out today.  However, something about it refuses to work for me.  When I select the feature on an image, the preview pane only shows a completely black pane on the "Enhanced" version.  Furthermore, when I click the "Enhance" button, processor and GPU rev up and the progress bar moves, but ultimately it only renders a completely black DNG.  This seems to happen on any photo in my collection.  I have verified that I am updated to the correct version of windows, and that I am working on a CR2 RAW file.  Screenshots:

When using the new Enhance Details feature, the result is always a completely black image.

Does seem to be the case. Bit disappointing.

Same here. Preview and final render are completely black, when using Enhance Details.
I've got a Dell XPS13 with an i7 (thus Intel's integrated GPU).

Given that some are saying the output files work in third-party apps, perhaps the issue is local to Lightroom and not intrinsically linked to system configurations.

Worked fine here in ACR and Lightroom with a Lenovo ThinkCenter Edge, integrated Intel graphics (not supported for hardware acceleration.)

Thanks,  I thought the DXO render showed no improvement.

Same black preview/render as the others.
Win10 - Nvidia Geforce750M w/418.81 driver.

Toggling the Lightroom GPU setting on/off did not make a difference.

Disabling the Nvidia display adapter in the Windows control panel allowed the built-in Intel card (HD4600) to function with GPU on (OpenGL). Then the Enhance details preview/DNG worked but with large performance penalty.

One special note:

When an Enhanced Details DNG is created, the original desmosaic data is also included with the file.

When you take this "black" DNG into another application, and the black frame is rendered as a visible image, you are not viewing the Enhanced version but rather the original demosaic data.

Just wanted to make everyone aware.

Luminar 3/DXO only understand and read non enhanced details portion of the DNG. The issue remains that the enhanced details portion is black.

I hit the "Me Too".  ASUS gamer i7 laptop, Panasonic (Lumix) and Olympus RAW files.  Nvidia GPU.  Turned off and on GPU.  Also failed with a Lighroom generated DNG file.
