P: Unable to openHasselblad’s FFF format

Hasselblad’s FFF. formats are not supported anymore

Problem occurs in both Mac OS 15.5 (24F74)  & Windows 11 pro (Betriebssystembuild: 26100.7840)

When opening fff. files in the newest Bridge (16.0.3), Camera RAW Plugin (18.3.) opens and creates an error, claiming the file format is not supported. Same Problem occurs with  the newest Lightroom Classic (15.3). The Import is not possible cause the file format is not supported.

      Even with the updated Camera RAW to 18.3, LR can’t open fff files but PS2026 can. What the hell is the problem with LR ?

      Adobe, c’mon, what is it? Recent updates:
      — 👀 ACR v18.3.2, LrC v15.3.1
      — ✅ Sony A7R VI RAWs — imported
      — ✅ Hasselblad X1D II RAWs — visible
      — ❌ Hasselblad X1D II RAWs taken with Phocus Tethering (Job files, FFF): “The file appears to be unsupported or damaged”.

      The LrC’s About Box still shows ACR v18.3. Why?

      Still no joy with LrC 15.3.1. Just installed it, still has the unsupported error message 😠

      Two Photoshop fixes, zero LrC. Bravo, Adobe. May I skip my subscription payment next month?

        The May release of Camera Raw 18.3.1 is now live and contains a fix for this issue.

            I’ve updated to Camera Raw 18.3.1 and Photoshop 27.7. Now I’m able to open Job FFF file in Photoshop via ACR UI. The photo is taken in tethered mode with my X1D II. LrC 15.3 still does not work, but its About box shows ACR 18.3. Why?
            The same thing with Sony A7R VI files. They’re still not imported to LrC but are opened in Photoshop + ACR 18.3.1.

            I’ve been thinking LrC shares the same stand-alone ACR plugin with Photoshop but I was wrong.

            First: in reset LR on Mac OS 26.3.1 with the Shift+option key. Reset done

             

            but same result 

             

            i can Open Hasselblad FFF Files from the Camera X2Dii but if i Connect the Camera with Phocus in tethering Mode LR will Not Open the files. Also „old“ files , Shot two month ago are now Not available.

            I’m on latest LrC/Photoshop/ACR. Camera is Hasselblad X1D II. I’m still able to oped fff files exported in Phocus from 3FR but not fff shot in tethered mode in Phocus 4.1.2 macOS. I noticed it yesterday.

            Thanks for the additional information! Could you also let us know the operating system you’re working on? 

            Try resetting the preferences of Lightroom using the keyboard shortcuts mentioned below:

            macOS: Launch the app while pressing and holding the Shift + Option keys.

            Windows: Launch the app while pressing and holding the Shift + Alt keys.

            Please let us know the exact version of Lightroom you're using and the operating system you're using. What's the format of the files created by the Hasselblad Phocus app? Are you getting an error while trying to open the files?

            Nach dem letzen Update kann LR keine Dateien (Hasselblad 3F) Dateien mehr öffnen die mit der Phocus App von Hasselblad erstellt wurden. Bis zum letzten Update ging es einwandfrei .
