P: White Patches in RAW photos on Google Pixel 6a

White patches been occurring on RAW photos shot with the Google pixel 6a ever since the last camera update of Android 14. What I have seen is that this occurs only in "google pixel" profile and doesn't occur in Adobe color profile. RAW photos are totally unusable now unless you switch to Adobe color profile. There is no problem with the jpegs or while shooting with apps like Instagram.

 

I have attached an screenshot of what the problem is.

First image is the RAW file with google pixel profile and second is the pre processed jpeg straight out of camera

    More likely Adobe camera raw team needs to update the google pixel profile for the new camera version to fix it.

    Thanks for the response. I hope you noticed that JPEGs straight out of camera are normal. The RAW files are the ones with issue. This issue is on the google pixel profile. If you change the profile to Adobe color then the patches disappear. So I think the google pixel profile is one that needs investigation.

      I have attached 3 RAW files and their JPEGs too with this link. When you import them into Lightroom you will see the white patches that I am talking about. The Google pixel raw profile will show the white patches which is set by default.

      White patches on RAW images on pixel 6a's photos ever since the last camera update after Android 14. Photos have become unsuable in RAW mode. I have seen that the issue occurs only in the "google pixel" profile and doesn't occur on the Adobe color profile. This doesn't occur in pre processed JPEGs out of the camera or while shooting on apps like Instagram. Only occuring on RAW photos in the google pixel profile. It's mostly occuring in photos having blue or yellow sky involved but also occurs in other photos too. Need a fix for this immediately.

        Also I would like to add that this issue occurs mostly in photos involving sky like the one I have attached above but sometimes it occurs in other photos too
