CEP Panel Using Spectrum Web Components Bug

There seems to be a bug that's stopping me from using Adobe Spectrum Web Components in CEP.  Everything displays correctly in a web environment. However, none of the elements show up in a CEP panel.  Is there maybe some special way I have to bundle the node modules?  Or something in Spectrum Web Components that just won't work for CEP?  See attached images.

Using: Mac, Premiere 22.5.0

    Someone from another Adobe team found the thread as well:

     

    We ran into this issue as well. I don't remember exactly, but I think I had to import Spectrum CSS as a quick fix. We have now moved to the internal UXP React Spectrum Components.
