Ctrl+C Ctrl+V gradient mesh turns it into image

Everytime I copy and paste a gradient mesh it becomes an image on my Macbook's Illustrator 2026.

I works normally on illustrator 2025 and on a windows pc. I don't have anything installed that would affect this. 

*I have already posted this but i had to go on a trip and wasn't able to respond to the request to test a solution of the adobe support person who answered (Anubhav), so the post was deleted haha? :] I was not aware my account would be reset for not answering quick enough

Either way, i was asked to change the name of three folders in the Cache, Adobe Support and Library - adding ".old" at the end of each and launch it from creative cloud and it did not solve it. 

I'm also not using the beta version but there's no bug report category for the normal one to select.
