      I’m sorry but I'm unable to replicate this issue.
      Tested with the Home screen on and off in Illustrator Beta 30.6 11
      On windows 11
      Drag dropping files (.ai and .svg) works from Windows Explorer to Illustrator (Beta).
      Perhaps i just needed to restart after install.

      You can consider this issue solved.
