Glitchy images while moving them about in the file at smaller viewing scales (6%)

Images “glitch out” while moving them on artboards. Not a huge problem on its own, but causes my file to crash eventually without ability to re-open it as .ai - only pdf, losing all vector graphics.

I had to re-do the same file two times already.

Thanks for reporting this. We can't reproduce it here yet, but please share the below information :

• Please test the latest beta build and confirm if you still see the glitching and crashes.

• Machine details: OS, GPU, processor, and total RAM.

• File: Approximate size, number of artboards, and how many images (linked or embedded?).If possible you can share the images used.

• Does the glitching happen with all images or specific file types?

• Screen recording of the glitching at 6% zoom, if possible.

With those details, we can investigate quickly.

If I’m being honest, I’m a bit terrified to update this version (i know there is a newer update), because last time this happened, my file got corrupted beyond recovery.
