Hover/scrolling to increment doesn't work in version 30.4 187

create text, hover mouse over panel, roll the mouse wheel for adjustments doesn’t make adjustments.  Same for stroke size, fill color, etc.  Panels not responding to hover/roll mouse wheel.

      Dropping this feature quietly without an option to toggle is such a baffling decision? What was the latest build to still feature it so I can roll back? 30.3?

        I noticed this problem today immediately after upgrading to 30.4

        Mouse scrolling no longer affects any fields in the window menus. On Mac OS 26.4.1

        I thought it was a bug. Apparently it's causing problems for some people while some of us absolutely need it. I believe it needs to be optional. I went back to earlier version of Illustrator because I need that feature. It of course speeds up the work, which is why Adobe made the feature.

          The regular version of Illustrator 30.4 now also has this problem in addition to the beta.

            I threw out the entire preference folder before doing this video.  As I said, I hover over the input boxes and roll the wheel on the mouse.  It does not work in this version of Illustrator.  I have to actually click in the input boxes for it to work. It seems to work for changing fonts, but not font size, width, height, or stroke options. Probably other things as well.
