Illustrator Beta Keeps Crashing - Tahoe MacOS 26.2

Illustrator (Beta) installs and launches once, but after a system restart or letting the machine sit overnight, it stops opening. The app hangs at the very start of launch and never reaches the UI. A clean reinstall fixes it only for one session. After the next reboot, the issue returns.

Repro steps:

  1. Install Illustrator (Beta) from Creative Cloud.
  2. Launch it — it opens normally.
  3. Restart macOS Tahoe (or wait until the next day).
  4. Launch again — the app hangs on startup.

Troubleshooting already done:

  • full reinstall of Creative Cloud Desktop

  • removal of OOBE, SLCache, SLStore

  • deletion and clean reinstall of Illustrator (Beta)

  • ran Adobe Log Collector immediately after failure

This behavior began only after upgrading to macOS Tahoe. Illustrator (release) still works; only the Beta build becomes unusable after Tahoe’s system integrity checks post-restart.

Looking for confirmation from Adobe whether the current Illustrator Beta build is compatible with macOS Tahoe, and if there is a known workaround until an updated Beta build is available.

All I needed to do was update the Wacom driver. Problem solved!

Hi @V30992118c1da! Thank you so much for sharing the detailed information. Are you still running into this issue with Beta Build 30.3.0.22 (released on Dec 17th)?
