Nearly Impossible to Select Paths in Latest Beta
Mousing over path elements does not highlight them and selecting them is really difficult by clicking.
When the pointer is over a selectable element, it usually changes to indicate that there’s something beneath it. And you can see it change the pointer a couple of times. But trying to select the lines by clicking on them or around them just doesn’t work.If I drag a marquis around a part of it, sometimes it will select the path. Sometimes, though, it just won’t. I have had to quit Illustrator and go back to an older version because it just doesn’t select paths anymore.
It might just be open paths or even paths that came from shape elements. Even after I have selected a path, trying to move it is next to impossible because grabbing it deselects.
Also, as noted in the video, sometimes it will select if I grab an endpoint, but not in the middle. Very strange behavior.
