Panels can open too tall to shorten

Sometimes a panel will open so tall that even if you can drag the top of it to the top of your screen, you can't select the bottom edge so you can shorten it.

There is a "Reset" option for your workspace, but I don't think Adobe should assume users know about it or have to resort to it. To compare, my Mac and Windows computers can detect available resolutions and refresh rates of external displays, so it would not be a stretch to assume that a desktop application can detect the user's display and correct accordingly.

I never understood why the panels are not scalable from the top. But just now at least I found a workaround that does not involve resetting the workspace (which btw did not work for me anyway because the panel was already too tall in the saved workspace) - move the panel in as a tab with another panel that is shorter, that seemed to change the size for me even when I separated the panel again after.

Yes, and I failed to mention that. I reported the same thing (and the same "how come you can't do it?") in other betas long, long ago only then, there was no reset and one had to modify a plist file. I should've mentioned it. Take a look at how I added info to the original.

You could reset your workspace
