Thank you so much @analytical_fantasy5C57 for the follow-up, I'm seeing this as well in Beta build 30.1 109, and I've passed this information along!

@Jess Telmanik, Newest Beta 30.1 109 is still affected by this. 😞 Same behavior. Text objects, when selected, a point appears to the left and above them.

@jctremblay Thank you so much. I also was on the old Beta build and didn't realize it! I just double checked. And I am also seeing it in the Beta 30.1.65.
Thank you again @analytical_fantasy5C57 for reporting this!!

I have the same issue on macOS Sequoia 15.7.2 and the Beta 30.1.65

Thank you so much for the additional information @analytical_fantasy5C57, I'm unable to replicate this (I'm on Sequoia though) I'm passing along your information on this bug to the Illustrator team, and please keep us updated if this continues for you!

Jess, this issue affects TEXT objects only. If text is part of the mixed group only one point per text object will appear. Dot's also change their position with scroll.

Here are the screenshots. Webpage does not upload files any longer.

Thank you @analytical_fantasy5C57. Can you confirm that this is an original file? Not a template? They resemble anchor points that may have been inadvertently created and not deleted. Is this issue only occurring with this file, or is it also affecting other files?

Hi, those points appear to the left and above ANY selected object. They do not appear on canvas if the object is deselected in any view, including outline. You cannot select or delete those points. They only appear when an object is selected.

Hi @analytical_fantasy5C57, could you please provide some additional details? How did you create this file and those objects? Or is it a template? What happens when you delete the points? Thank you!
