When editing an object or moving an object with shift to constraint... I get weird behavior.

When I try to edit a point on an object, instead of viewing the edit I’m making as a live-preview, I just see every object on the artboard in it’s outline mode… and I can see what I’m actually doing (see attached screencap). I also get the same behavior when I try to move an object when I hold down the shift key to constrain the objects movement… everything goes into outline mode and freezes, and I can only see the result of the move when I release the mouse.

The problem happens most of the time… but there are some time when things work properly… but that’s rare, and shouldn’t be this way. Hope you can fix this right away… it makes it a lot harder to get things done in the app. Thanks.

Hello @HoehneDesign thanks for raising this. I have raised a ticket for the same.

Also, I forgot to mention that I’m running a MacBook Pro M1 with macOS Tahoe 26.6.1. and the Illustrator Beta version I’m using is the latest build.
