Hello! I just wanted to say thank you to the team for the web version of Aqua. It allowed me to jump right in to using Aqua with the Chromebooks I already had in my classroom. Ideally I’d like to move up to iPads because student are more familiar with them and have them at home, but we use what we have. What devices does everyone use in their classroom?

I second this celebratory high five!  It was such a rush to learn that Aqua could be accessed on chromebooks AS WELL AS---- on PANELS!

I am a speech and language pathologist and I support with middle school learners in a public middle school in Massachusetts.  I co-teach small group ELA and run small group interventions/pull-out service delivery.

While my middle school students have chromebooks (there are a few with iPads who use AAC to support communication), much of the creative work I do with learners happens in small groups with a high degree of modeling and guided collaboration on our Clear Touch Panel and/or with other materials and manipulatives.  (I do, We do, You do scaffolded approach to learning).

Having the flexibility to work across devices is a major breakthrough.  An entire layer of accessibility change is eliminated as a result of the wide spread availability. That makes me so happy!

Wonderful to hear! I’m the developer who works on the web version of Aqua. We test on Chromebooks often but sometimes issues slip through with all the different variants. If you run across any issues, let us know!

Thank you so much for sharing this! I just passed your thank you on to our team- can’t tell you how much comments like this mean to us all! I think you’re in good company- lots of educators are using Chromebooks in their classrooms, though I know you teach TK and having iPads would simplify things a lot for your students.
