Automatically inherit the source clip label when creating a sequence

When creating a new sequence from a clip, Premiere automatically assigns the default sequence label color instead of inheriting the label color already assigned to the source clip.

It would be helpful to have an option such as:

“Automatically inherit the source clip label when creating a sequence.”

Many editors use label colors to organize clients, cameras, scenes, content types, or production stages. Keeping the same label would preserve this organization and eliminate the need to manually change the color of every new sequence.

Ideally, this behavior could be enabled or disabled in the Label Preferences.
