Bring Premiere Mobile natively to macOS (Apple Silicon)
With the retirement of Adobe Rush on desktop, there is a massive gap for casual/rapid-timeline video creators who want a lightweight, clean native app layout on Mac without the massive footprint or subscription cost of full Premiere Pro.
I would love to request that Adobe natively compile and launch the new iPhone/iOS Premiere application architecture for macOS.
Why this makes technical sense for Mac users:
Hardware Optimization: Because of Apple Silicon's Unified Memory Architecture (UMA), a native version of the mobile app would require a incredibly low RAM profile (under 4GB). It would instantly optimize memory buffers without bogging down the system.
Efficiency: It would utilize the dedicated hardware Media Engines on modern Mac chips for direct H.264/HEVC decoding/encoding, resulting in zero fan noise, zero thermal throttling, and effortless 4K timeline scrubbing.
Perfect Ecosystem Continuity: It bridges the exact gap shown in Adobe's mobile-to-desktop promo files, allowing creators who love the mobile app workflow to drop assets onto a clean, fast desktop interface.
Please consider opening up the iOS binary for Apple Silicon Mac deployment or launching a native, lightweight desktop companion!
