Hi - I need to know if the Adobe Media Encoder supports WebM files, and if it can convert a WebM file (of at least 250mb) to a standard video file, such as mp4 or Quicktime.

Thank you!

There are WebM plugins available such as here: https://www.fnordware.com/WebM/.

How is this still not fixed???
It's been 7 years. Still no support for webm.
Why do we pay the bs subscription fees if nothing is getting fixed?

This doesn't work in media encoder 2020.  When I try to bring the presets in I get a message saying 'Preset could not be imported.  No exporter found for this preset' .   Any other way to make webm files?  HELP!!!

This really isn't the solution.

That is for PREMIER PRO - this is not for Media Encoder.

The insrtuctions are scant, if not cryptic.

This has been an issue for YEARS now.

Where is the Adobe Media Encoder plugin to allow conversion to OGG?

Please quit sending us to the GitHub link for Premiere Pro.

Hi, I'm new to this! So I can't export to webm or ogg? That was the only reason I was starting to learn Adobe Media Encoder

Fnord Software has created free plug-ins for both WebM and Ogg.

Why doesn't Adobe just make the codecs so we don't have to dance around this issue?

Would someone at Adobe answer this? I find this very silly for a purpose built media encoder....

Hi Anastasia,

There is no native support for .WebM files in Adobe Media Encoder. Please make a feature request.
