Append custom file name on export

I would like to append a custom name to the end or beginning of a file name on export. Yes, I know you can select an option saying "Append preset name to filename on export", but I don't need this all the time. It would be much simpler if this was an option that is chosen within the preset itself. This would create much more flexibility when exporting.

I just had the case, I had to export 40 files in an different format. I dind not wanted to Append the preset name. So I had to rename the preset, then export, then rename the preset back to the original name. Just thoght it would be easy to implement that. But hell, 3 years and no uplikes :-(

Two solutions come to mind: scripting, and os batch renames. MacOS Finder can do search & replace in file names now.

How would you envision such a feature to make it useful?

thanks for your interest!

Something like this way. Sry I have to run AME in german here in the office

We have Append “incremental number”
We have Append “export preset name”

We don’t have “your own text”

(I’m on windows, so no batch rename)
(I have no idea how to script)

Also it was just one usecase in my whole carreer, but was surprised thers no option for that.

How doing that would be faster than changing manually the filename ?
