Captions not imported in Media Encoder 2022

After the 2022 upgrade (from 2020), Media Encoder doesn't import embedded captions from media files, even if the "Include Captions on import" is checked.

Although it's working in Premiere 2022.
When exporting a sequence with captions from Premiere to Media Encoder, then it works.

      I am happy to report that the issue is fixed in Adobe Media Encoder (Beta) 23.5.0.16. Please give it a try and let us know.

      Thanks for reporting this. For now, please try to export via Premiere Pro or use "Send to AME" from PPro as a workaround until this issue is fixed.

      I also am having this issue with importing an H.264 file with captioning embedded.  I just want to transcode to AVC-100 in a MXF wrapper and it never keeps the captioning data.  I need help.
