Distributed Rendering

The Creative Cloud suite needs the ability to use other resources connected to the same network for distributed rendering.

Installing a small program on other connected machines would allow the primary machine to use the available CPU/GPU and memory of connected machines to speed up render/export duties.

While I don't have details to share today, what you are requesting is something we are working on.

We can do distributed rendering with AME for PPro and AE. Including Split&Stitch.

Or even a cloud based GPU server.... pay by the minute for rendering time using a super fast cloud GPU server - similar concept, but using the cloud instead of local network

I would love to have this ability. I run the IT for film school and it would be nice to be able to create a batch of exports and use the power of computer labs overnight when they are empty.

I agree! We sometimes have several machines and we would like to use them for parallel rendering when these machines are not used.

YES! I believe Final Cut 7 was able to do this (or compressor more specifically). I don't travel in Final Cut circles these days but I see and hear no mention of distributed rendering anywhere. This would be an amazing boost. Not everyone can invest in an external GPU.
