In any other application (Finder, Chrome, InDesign etc), when I move my fingers right aross the mouse, the view moves to the right (and as a result, the objects on the screen move left).

In Media Encoder, when I move my finger to the right the view scrolls to the left (and therefore objects in media encoder move to the right).

Media Encoder should use the operating systems scroll direction settings instead of doing its own thing.

Recent update (MediaEncoder 22.5) has a horizontal scroll bug in Preset Browser window and Queue window. I use Apple Magic Mouse to scroll horizontally - so historically in Media Encoder if I scrolled right, I got to see right side content, and if I scrolled left, I got to see what's on the left. But in 22.5 (Build 57) update, horizontal scroll direction is inverted for Preset Browser window and Queue. Media Browser window still acts normally when I scroll horizontally in directory tree.
I hope it wan't done on purpose - my brain just doesn't work this way. The scroll behaviour should be the same across all Adobe apps.
