New UI makeover is VERY hard to look at

The recently "updated UI" is VERY hard . on the eyes.

The interface "refinements" are killing my eyes. I'm not sure if it's a font change, of the text has more contrast. But the defined boxes and UI text and now REALLY hard . on the eye. I rolled back and the difference is chalk and cheese. The new UI makeover feels like a version from 5 yrs ago. Can we please have the option to just leave it as it is.

    Hi Michael,

    I'd like to get more information. Can you tell me the set up of your system? I'm particularly interested in what type of monitor you're using, the size, and at what resolution it's running

    I ask because I've also noticed the text in recent versions of Media Encoder is hard to read - it's very bright and the text seems bold and condensed - but that seems to be specific to the monitor I'm using. On other systems, it seems to be fine.

    Hi Fergus,

    I use dual Dell UP2516D monitors. Driven by a 1080 ti. Dual Xeon 12 core machine with 64GB ECC Ram.

    I run the monitors at 2560x1440p , 60 Mhz, 100% scale.

    Oh and the forum won't let me use "hard" and "on" consecutively in a sentence. I mean as two separate words.
