Why can't we drag and drop media onto Media Encoder's App Icon in Mac's dock?

As I rarely use dynamic link because of numerous past bugs breaking it constantly, I was wondering why we can't drag and drop video files onto the Media Encoder app in the Mac dock and have it launch the app or add the items to the queue? Seems like a natural motion for this app to accomplish?

By the way: It is possible to drag & drop via cmd&alt and dragging onto AME on Mac (this is ignoring the allowed file formats). Normal drag&drop currently does not work, though. I converted your feature request into a bug. We need to update the allowed file formats for this.
