Bug: Creative Cloud 5.10: Command-Line Tool does not show full version-number of UXP Plugin

Hi

Today on my M1 the CreativeCloud was updated to Version 5.10.0.573

When running in the command line:

"/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Desktop Common/RemoteComponents/UPI/UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent/UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent" --list all

I got the following output

Enabled       [PluginName] 1.4.2

On my x86-Mac with CC-Version 5.9.0.373, I get the following output:
Enabled     [PluginName]       1.4.2.294

This means, that in the newer Version of CC the last Numbers of the Versions have disappeared.
But this number is important, because it used to check whether a newer Version of the Plugin is available (I'm having a C++-Plugin and use UXP for the UI)
Please bring the full version-number back.

And, it would be nice if the version-Number of a Plugin can be shown also in the UI of Creative Cloud

Hi there!

Sorry your message got bounced around so much. You're pointing out both a bug; UPIA no longer displayes the full version number as expected (formerly this tool was ExManCmd)

And you have a Creative Cloud desktop app feature request (I think). To clarify, are you saying you'd like to see the version number here:

At the very least, it'd be handy to see the plugin version number here similar to how you can see the desktop app version numbers, right? Like this:

Although that does raise the question, if you install something via UPIA, does it appear in the Creative Cloud desktop app? 🤔 🤔

Finally, and perhaps more confusingly, this is the best forum for UPIA/ExManCmd queries.

The best forum for UXP feedback is here: https://forums.creativeclouddeveloper.com/

I think originally you posted this in the Creative Cloud desktop community, which isn't wrong, per se, but since it's about plugins this category is better.

Hi and sorry for the late reply
Regarding the display of the version number: This is what I would like to see: The version of the Plugin as in your image 👍

When I install the plugin with the UPIA (I hope that this is the abbreviaton for the command-line-tool and not some other fancy stuff 😉😞 Yes, it is displayed in the App ("Stock and Marketplace" -> "Plug-ins" -> "Manage Plugins" (I hope the names are correct, I have a german system)

@kglad this isn't an Enterprise issue - its a UXP bug for developing a plugin on exchange.
