Ability to add swatches

I realise that only linear and radial gradient swatches are able to be added/uploaded to Illustrator (beta), but I am just voicing my support for the idea. Memebers of my team create stratigraphic columns and use templates from USGS and BGS, which are mainly swatches. I'm guessing it is not that straightforward to include that ability as many of us also create the swatch patterns from scratch. Hoping that this is added soon!
