My students can not download the desktop version of Adobe Illustrator. We would like to have access to the Image Trace option for the Web Version.

    Thank you!

We are learning how to use Illustrator for the first time and this helped!

    Hi @Gwen McDaniel!
In Illustrator on the Web, Image Trace is called "Vectorize" and it has most of the capabilities of desktop Image Trace.
Your students will need to add an image to the art board and then click "Vectorize" in the Contextual Task Bar.

From there, additional changes can be made by going to the Properties panel > Image Trace > Vectorize. And once completed, "Expand vectorization" can be clicked in the Contextual Task Bar.

I hope this helps and that your students enjoy learning and creating with Illustrator on the Web! Please continue to post in this community with any requests you have or any issues that you run into.
