Develop an Illustrator app native to Windows on ARM systems. Illustrator Beta sucks in comparison.

I'm sick of using Illustrator beta on the web, it lacks so many features that the full Illustrator has to offer. I don't pay $60 a month for this BS. The fact there is no windows tablet support, or ARM support is ridiculous. Figure it out Adobe.

***EDIT 3/23/25***
They figured it out!! Just wanted to update - I followed Jess Telmanik's instructions below. They do have a beta illustrator desktop app for Windows on ARM.

Not a worry, @keegan_4302. There is a LOT included, and it can get a bit confusing! I'm happy it's all figured out! If you run into anything with Illustrator Beta, make sure to share here https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator/ct-p/ct-illustrator?page=1&sort=latest_replies&lang=all&tabid=all Happy creating!!

Thank you - I apologize I must not have downloaded the beta desktop app. I have some illustrator work today so I will test it out.

Hi @keegan_4302 and @SP350930410rrs !

Two different versions of Illustrator can be called Illustrator "Beta."

There is Illustrator on the Web Beta, which does not have all of the functions available on Desktop that you're referencing.

And then there is Illustrator Beta, which is available on Desktop via the Creative Cloud Desktop app, which offers support for ARM architecture-based processors. Illustrator Beta has all of the features available in the general build but is still being worked on.

Have you tried both Illustrator Beta Builds? If not, please consider testing out Illustrator Beta (the Beta Desktop version available through the link Anubhav provides in his reply or in your Creative Cloud desktop app) and providing feedback to the team. The more feedback the team gets, the quicker they can get this support out to everyone!

That did not answer my question fully. When is a full capacity illustrator app coming?

Hi, beta version is is not usable and lacks of many features compared to the full version. I am paying around $500 a year for nothing??? Adobe, please do something since many people have been complaining about this issue more than 6 months ago and what took you so long to develop on ARM systems???

Hello @keegan_4302,

Illustrator (beta) is now available for Microsoft Copilot+ PCs with Snapdragon X Series ARM architecture-based processors. Get started here: (https://adobe.ly/3F3lTf1). Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.
