Illustrator on the web not working - Firefox/Chrome on Ubuntu Linux

The systems requirements mention nothing of Illustrator working on Linux machines, yet their check when viewing applications between your machine, browswer (web), or tablet says it's available and will work. Given Adobe Express works fine with FF on Ubuntu, I figured Illustrator would too. I upgraded the plan so I can gain access and unfortunately it DOES NOT work for Ubuntu (Debian) systems... Please make this one of your priorities. It is very unfortunate that one must have either Windows or Mac just to use this. Not trying to come off as a jerk.
