AI Texture Variations for 3D Scans
So we know the power of AI with creating variations of images (Midjourney, etc). We know it can be done. The Substance suite already has some useful cloning tools that let you do this sort of thing in a manual way, but it's far from perfect.
Imagine though, you scan a 3D asset (let's say a brick for example), and Sampler can automatically generate infinite variations of this brick texture for you by intelligently moving around pieces of the texture, similar to how you would do it manually with the cloner tool if your goal was to re-arrange the surface to look unique so when you put the two bricks side by side they look like different bricks, but in a more sophisticated way.
That would be extremely powerful! Instead of having to scan 10 different assets, I could scan one of them and create 10 variations of textures. I think this is the future of this sort of a product. AI assisted asset generation is the future, and hopefully you guys can be one of the first to accomplish it. It would really separate you in the market from other photogrammetry software and texturing software. Right now people who want lots of variations of textures are forced to tediously create procedural workflows in apps like Designer so they can cycle seeds, so this would be an incredible synergy on the real-world asset side of things. Basically a "procedural photogrammetry" and "procedural texture scanning/sampling".
