Suggest increasing the diversity of fabric effects that can be achieved

Hello, this is just my personal idea!
As a software in the 3D or CG industry that can achieve multiple materials, sampler is still too thin in terms of the achievable effect on fabrics. For example, the renderings I presented below are of plush fabric and velvet fabric, which can be easily achieved in Vray by adjusting simple parameters. However, sampler still cannot achieve this. We hope that in the future, the possibility of implementing such fabric materials can be realized in sampler. Thank you

@Cyril Dellenbach I would like to explain a problem to you. In Vray, to achieve a glossy velvet fabric effect, it is necessary to add a attenuation map and use the fabric gloss parameter option. However, it is obvious that the substance to Vray cannot achieve this

Yes, first of all, I didn't see the default material of sheen velvet in the sampler!
I have also tried using fabric weaving filters to make fabric and reduce roughness to make the fabric look more glossy, although it appears so perfect in the sampler, but when I exported it to sbsar format, then imported it into 3D max, and applied it as a vray material, the rendered effect was not the same!

I'm not sure if this can be considered a problem, maybe it's a problem that the Substance plugin department should solve

Hi @饰31232974leet,

Thanks for the message.

Could you be a bit more specific? Which channels are missing and what specific feature would you like to see in Substance Sampler?

The examples you gave upthere are perfectly achievable with Substance Sampler (or maybe I'm missing something).

Let me know.
