Photoshop 10.15.3 (19D76) Image color space Adobe RGB 8 bit Attempt to apply lighting effects filter on a single layer results in message: -Embedded Profile Mismatch- “The document “DEFAULT IBL.TIF” has an embedded color profile that does not match the current RGB working space. States that the embedded profile is sRGB IEC61966 (Linear RGB Profile… When I click OK to convert that layers colors go dark. This has only occured with recent images and not in past PS versions.

Nancy, I haven't done any work in coding for couple of years, and just started again in hobby mode. I'm at the age where although I enjoy it more than crosswords, but do not keep up with the fast pace of change as well as in the past. I'll take another look at the Dreamweaver componants and research a bit more on keeping it to Bootstrap. Appreciate your time and patience.

Thanks for your response, Al. Only posted a snippet in order to focus on my primary question: "How the extra code (which was not on page source) just appears in the validation result. That really piqued my curiosity, but not enough to spend a lot of time on it. Easier to just rebuild a single page. w3c validator (on text input) inserts <html lang=''><!DOCTYPE html> following the <!DOCTYPE html> that already exists in page source. Also shows a non-existent </style> tag after </html> that is not in page source. How is it that code appears as error when no such code exists in page source? Error on Google Analytics expected as site source on a local server. Makes perfect sense, even to me. I used StatCounter for many years, and avoided Google for the same reasons you espoused. But over time I became more engrossed in learning how to do for myself in the world of code, immersed in the learning just for the sake of learning, and understand at a base level that that game has ended. Google, FaceBook, et al, have won. At my age, they can't get much out of me. I just chuckle at the thought of how many now complain that the sky is falling on the privacy issue, without realizing it has already been lost. As with every generation, if it's what you are used to it will be "the good old days." Life is good when one can fall asleep at night without worry about what tomorrow will bring. If your feet hit the floor in the morning, all is good. All is good...

This is what, at times, can lead to confusion as to what really is ‘best practice”. After resolution of my query “Pagespeed Analysis, Reduce blocking resources…” I had stated in the thread that I thought I had properly positioned Google Analytics code according to my initial search for guideace. ============================================== I did find the page on which I relied, as follows: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1008080?hl=en “Copy and paste the gtag.js tracking code snippet to each web page you want to track. Add the tracking code snippet right after the opening <head> tag on each page.” =============================================== Query correctly answered by Ben Pleysier, and moved script to just before </body> which corrected error. For those of us who don’t have all of this already filed in the recesses of our minds, we rely on research to further our understanding. Unfortunately, if there is a right answer out there, there will be many more that are wrong… or, not applicable.

Nancy, I did and uploaded... Still getting same error. I'm even further confused as the original links to Bootstrap & jQuery with these that contain integrity checks were provide by you earlier in year and worked perfectly well. Although careful to implement other moderators suggestions, that is the only change I made to site today. Would you like me to start another thread which will allow me to mark "Correct" future actions?

Uh Oh, ...Panic alert! On completion of suggestions, first analysis came back okay, so I reordered all pages same (template pages) and came back with the following console error on index page: Access to Script at 'https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/boots%3Etrap/3.3.7/js/bootstrap.min.js' from origin 'http://satgraphics.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://satgraphics.com' is therefore not allowed access. The response had HTTP status code 403. I checked a couple of other deeper pages, and they seem okay. I pulled up a backup index page, uploaded as it was prior to changing position of GA and out of place css, but still received the above error. This is WAY over my head.

Right on the money, Ben Pleysier, When I first installed GA, I researched the insertion point, and distinctly remembered the instruction was to insert following the <head> tag. Obviously my mistake. That led me to switch the order of the css as a "just try it" call, as the initial report did not mention the GA script by name, but did the .css links. Guessing would be the key word here. Reorder of all completed and tested, with good results. I'd certainly give you a correct, but that has already been done. Thank You.

Joh Fritz II, I did only as I described. I reordered the "bootstrap-custom.css" appear before"bootstrap/3.3.7/css/bootstrap.min.css". The only script that appears above those (named PageSpeed erro links) is that of "googletagmanager". To best of my knowledge, that GTA script is in proper position.

As I'm using images sized from a previous site, I wasn't sure of which I would use and which I would discard, saving that decision for the final phase. I’ll present my synopsis of the chain of events to my original post. My unnecessary response to Osgood’s aside in first posts were a result of not seeing their wasn’t a connection to my post, but simple a conversational back and forth between moderators. I’ll have to consider my wife’s opinion that I, now well into my seventh decade and still working, that I “might” be a bit short on patience; especially with myself. I will certainly refrain, in the future, from any response not necessary to the question at hand. I hope, Osgood, that you reconsider this to be a bad start to a new year. I have 3 rows (each with a flex class) of which each row contains 4 columns with a thumb container in each column. Appearance currently visually acceptable, but I find that with all thumbs aligned/floated left, as the md and lg breakpoints it begins to leave more empty space to right than I would prefer. I have tried several approaches found thru forum and discussion groups, but have only managed to blow up the page a couple of times due to my unfamiliarity with flex. Guidance would be appreciated. I actually first became aware when viewing on a smaller screen Android, then on iPhone 6, that I was not seeing the toggle bars. I then have to swipe left to access toggle to access menu. That (image I included in initial query) was the screen shot of the Android; the content actually moved left out of view, with a space that I'd guessed to about the breakpoint, when swiped to left, to get to toggle. This led me to think there was some sort of min-width or other restraint rule associated with the navbar-header, but I just don't see anything that jumps out at me. (I can, at times, be a "bull in a china shop" but I have learned to not try to make the code do things it doesn't like to do.) No, I did not see any of that in emulation mode FF Dev or Chrome Dev, but only on hand held phone. I've gone through every line of related code, and just do not see what could prevent the nav bar from matching the container, (hiding hamburger toggle). Site URL: SatGraphics.com Screenshot of an Android phone; and same on others. All looked good in emulation mode FF Quantum Dev and Chrome Dev, leaving the option of asking for help.
