After 21 years with Premiere Pro (yes im already old) i finally switched mid Project to davinci cause of the Problems with Warp stabilyzer, poor codec playback Support (xavc), Logitech Errors, self deleting Team Projects, Premiere deleting files from my hard Drives and hours of helping Support to recreate Bugs. I was even an early Beta tester when it wasnt Public. There are still Problems in this Forum to which i was writing to from 9 years ago, that are still Not solved. I'm so done with this programm. Stabilyzation is so damn fast in davinci, as is Playback with so many Codecs, which would never ever Play in real time and full res. Audio Timecode: No Problem Batch merging audio and Video with Timecode: no problem All should take a deep breath and Dive into davinci. Im Happy that i'll never Return to this Forum again. Goodbye

The engineer told me to use an older Version...im on 23.2 right now. In general one of them told me to never use a current year Version of Premiere. So when Version 24 gets released, you better stay on Version 23 Till they Release Version 25.

they are fixing it in one of the coming updates. I had a professional call with one of the technicians with screensharing, because Team Projects are throwing out co-workers and blocking the projects for all members....they are also aware of this and working on it.

I've had the same problem with almost the same system as yours (only difference are 64GB-RAM). Then 2 days ago i dropped those files into davinci just to test....it just plays it back. Without ANY PROBLEMS!!!! No stuttering. Nothing. It just plays back. We mainly use REd Cams, but for small jobs we usually use Sony FX3. Now we have to learn davinci for editing XD

it got a little better.... 2023 145 minutes 2022 latest update i had 370 minutes on one clip..... 2022 1st version 65 minutes 2021 1st version 65 minutes wonder how it is on 2020, but its not available anymore.

I just had a 2 hour session with support. They suggested for the time being to let everything on default. For cache I have especially a raid 0 hard drive. Media is on another hard drive. It's a bigger project with 12TB of footage. In the session they gathered info from my PC. It also happened on another machine. Really strange. When this problem gets solved, I'll write here the solution in case someone runs into the same problem. Regards

Hi, as the title says, Premiere is deleting Media in the background. I'm working on a project with 4500 clips from 4 different Red cams. from 4,5K to 8K. They got all connected with their proxies created by the camera in Premiere 2018, since Premiere 2019 doesnt automatically connect them. When working on the project, it happens from time to time, that premiere randomnly deletes media from my hard disk. It deletes always the whole Folder from a cam. Luckily we have 3 copys of the material but it always takes me several ours to copy those files back to the hard drive. This happened now for the 4th time and I'm really pissed. Does anyone know a solution to this problem. I'm about to switch to davinci, as this is just unacceptable. Side note: I noticed that when it happens while loading the project, the files in the loading bar have strange sign. Like &($%$&.r3d. I also recovered them once and thats how the were named before deletion: $I4W2EQC.R3D $IILXJV0.R3D none of those files had this name. They are usually named: M001_C002_1104KO_001.R3D M001_C003_11049G_001.R3D Regards

??? thats exactly what i did. Don’t get your point and it doesn’t work. It only works now (scrolling through the LUTs) when I import them into the individual programs Lumetri folder. again!!! it worked in the 2018 version as described in the common LUT folder for all programs. Now it DOESNT. Please read first before answering the wrong stuff. thx.

Hi, as the title says: I cant cycle through the different LUTs. However, the default LUTs from Adobe cycle through, but NOT my own added LUTs. I added them through this path: Program Files\Adobe\Common\LUTs\Technical Program Files\Adobe\Common\LUTs\Creative When I choose the Adobe preinstalled LUTs, it cycles through till the first user added LUT and jumps to "Search" This wasnt the case with Premiere 2018. Is there a fix? Regards

Hi, as in the title, the HDRx funtion via the RAW control panel in Premiere doesnt work anymore. Hope they fix it. Till then back to 2017. Everything worked fine in 2017. 2018 is just a clusterf...btw. PC almost freezes when I change some of the RAW settings. Intel i7 4,2GHz RAM 32GB nvidia 1080gtx system HD SSD 1 TB storage HD 12TB RAID 0 (3 Harddrives)

just tried Plural eyes and that doesnt work as needed. It just trys to sync the Audio from both video and audio recorder. I'm working on Reds (Epic, Raven and Weapon Helium) scratch Audio is not available or unusable. The Multicam workflow doesnt fit my workflow. I filled the form for the feature and really hope it'll be available sometime. Till then avid -.-

It's 2017 by now and STILL it doesnt work!!! This also explains why bigger companys still use Avid. If Adobe wants to get new customers they should include such a basic feature.
