I have 2 "sets" of quiz (each with 10 questions) in this course and learners answer a pretest question to be sent to their path. Everything works well except that the failures are not being recorded in the LMS. The passing score is set at 85%. I'm using CP7 and branch aware is selected in my preferences.. Any ideas? Nimmy, Answers to your questions below: 1. You can't get past an assessment with the issue, but it happens on a different question each time. Sometimes, it simply freezes and sometimes you only see the option letters; (A, B, C,D) but not the options themeselves. 2. The LMS is PinPoint from PinPoint Global 3. No, we are not seeing this on other browsers, just on iPads 4. iOS is 6.1.3 Thanks for your help.

We were having some issues with failure completions on iPads and decided to publish in CP7. This resolved the issue as you 'll see in my last posting. The new issue is that the quiz now freezes randomly on iPads. You select an answer and it does not respond to the submit button or anything else. Only option is to refresh and start all over again.Any ideas please?

Need to publish ASAP to a SCORM standard LMS to test a course that client say is not working on their LMS. I think the LMS is the issue not the course, for some completion and HTML5 issues but will need to independently test in another 2 or 3 different LMS to be sure. Any suggestions of some that I can get into right away even if I have to pay? Thanks!

Anjaneai, Thanks again; that worked. Now showing completion on Macs!! Since you've been 2 and 0 thus far with my BIG issues, I have a new one 🙂 The course is published for both SWF and HTML5 and exam failures are not showing for iPad users in the LMS. Thanks again and please make it 3 - 0 🙂

Has anyone experienced issues with mac users not being able to complete a course created in Captivate? Our courses were created in CP6 and LMS people say their tests show incomplete when testing from a mac. Any pointers?

I initially had 20 quiz items in my course with each having 5 points. I later decided to reduce to 10 items with 10 points each but my publish settings continues to display 1600 and appears to be tracking that much. How can I get rid of this? My pass/fail option is at 85% or more of total points. Status is at incomplete .........complete.

I have audio that is attached to a play button on each slide. Below are my Advanced Actions driving the action. Seemingly inconsistently, clicking any other button on the slide e.g. a close-out button or "show caption/text" button would pause or play the audio. Sometime even advanced the slide . What am I doing wrong?

Looks like I figured that one out:-). Some of my other buttons had a "pause after...." action. Unchecking the "pause after...." property solved it. Thanks again Lilybiri!!

Thanks for your patience. Thought I finally got it. Was able to implement the functional advanced action in which the audio starts when the button is released. But in my next attempt the toggle button does not control the audio unitil after a few clicks, What am I missing?

Sorry for the lots of confusing elements in those files.I may have ended up confusing myself too. I'd also taken out some slides in the file I sent to Lilybiri to reduce the size and that probably accounts for those "Continues". All I really wanted to achieve is : 1.) User clicks a button that launches an audio file which starts playing immediately. It also triggers another button and a pause and play image That second button is then used to toggle the audio and images between pause and play. This is really the crux of my issue. Thanks!

Using the these system variables to pause and play audio on a slide. The actions are attached to a button the user clicks to control the audio (audio is launched by a diffrent button). Problem is it is taking more than one click to pause the audio. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. The Captivate version is 5.5 Thanks!
