I've gotten responses like this from different folks at Adobe. Now I admit, "That," to quote one great American, "my propeller doesn't spin all that fast," but I don't understand how there could've been a problem with software that did not create files that exhibited the offending behavior. The problem occurs now when exporting from CS4. Acrobat, and Reader, 9 do not reliably display the issue. How is that a flaw in the previous software? Yes, birgitte, this is quite an issue for printers.
