As of 2019 LGA 2011-v3 is "best" motherboard for the $$ that I found when researching

Intel CPU Haswell-E (Core i7-59xx/58xx)

What I bought in 2014... now outdated, but some ideas

Asus Sabertooth X79 MB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131801

Raidmax 1000W Gold http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152044

-may not need a 1000w power supply, but probably 700 or so

- 256Gig SSD Boot for Win8.1 64bit Pro and ALL program installs

Crucial M550 512G input http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148792
- 512Gig SSD data for all input video files and pictures from camera

MSI 2Gig GTX760 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127745

-you will need a later video card with MUCH MORE video memory

Use the Power supply calculator http://extreme.outervision.com/index.jsp (the PRO version has more options) to determine your power supply needs
