2 SSD or 2 SSD + 1HDD???

Hi, I'm wondering wich configuration is better for Premiere Pro.

-2  Hard drives (SSD+NVMe)

or

-3 Hard drives (SSD+NVMe+HDD)

 

I was thinking HDD for Media, because I figured out once files are imported program not should be using it during the editing, except the Export. But what about renders an pre-renders? 

I don't Know well the importance of having separate in three hard disk the configuration if my third hd is slowing down the procces.

    As John said, you are not correct about that.  The media is not physically imported to the project.  The project uses the media same way that a shortcut to a file would use the file.

     

    Go with 2  Hard drives (SSD+NVMe) and use the HDD for backup files.

    Yeah I just got my 2 new Sandisk Ext Pro ext 2TB as well as the Sandisk 500 Ext Ext Portable and WD My Book 6TB and i have no idea what to allocate where for best video editing and LrC editing. Looking for any advice. Like which SSD my Premiere should go on and if LrC and Photoshop should. Then Cache and etc. Any help please.

      As far as I know (I did not write the program) your files do not totally load into memory while editing... the files are read off of the disk or ssd as you scroll along the timeline

       

      I have nvme for windows and programs and 2 ssd... 1 for temporary and output files and 1 for all input

       

      I use an external dock and 'bare' hard drives for backup
