Advice of Building Editing PC - How does this spec look

OK, so I am helping a frend build a new editing PC.  At the moment he is shooting 1080p but would like to futureproof for 4k.  He is working to a budget of £800 (without storage).  So far I have the folowing.  The motherboard has 4 memory slots and for now I am specifying 16GB (the idea is he gets another 16GB when he goes 4k).  He makes wildelife documenteries so so does not use many effects (colour corectionis probably being the most resource intensive).

What do people think.  He has mouse/keyboard/screen.

In addition to the suggestion of a newer GPU than that GTX 1060, I would also suggest choosing a 2.5" SATA III SSD instead of that WD Blue m.2 SSD:

That WD Blue m.2, despite using the m.2 form factor and connection, is only capable of SATA III performance because it is only a SATA SSD in the m.2 form factor. And because your particular planned motherboard has only one m.2 socket, that socket goes completely to waste with that particular SSD since it performs no better than its 2.5" SATA sibling. You do not want to put your PC's storage I/O performance capability to total waste by using such a super-fast interface connection on a super-slow (by current SSD standards) device.

And 250 GB is a bit skimpy for an OS/programs SSD. Better to get something in the 500-ish GB range for an SSD, since 250 GB SSDs are now more expensive per GB than their 500 GB siblings.

What about media storage and cache?

This is for web browsing and will try but it will be a big time struggle

Isn'it better to use newer generation GPU ? Like GTX 1660 series or maybe a used RTX.

And for the SSD, i don't say WD brand is bad but i rarely see people using it. I myself using a WD external harddrive but majority will prefer Samsung EVO. I have a good experience so far with several Samsung SSDs

Will you tell me more about using GTX 1660 ? I want to buy this one for my Video Editing. I am in hesitation with new generation GPU. Hope you will help me to decide.
