Hi! Quick question on my video card. It's a

AMD Radeon R9 M370X

I see it's not on this list: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html#gpu-acceleration

However, cards with both a higher and lower model number are.

Is there something specific about the 370 in particular that could be problematic?

Or is it safe to assume that since the 370 is very similar to other models that performance is about the same?

PS: I know this is a very specific hardware question. I contacted Adobe Support about it and they said to ask the question here though:

Jacob, I am only trained on troubleshooting.

I am not an hardware expert, so I can't say.

And I don't want to give any false information.

But I would suggest you to contact Adobe Forums.

We have our experts sitting there.

Kindly contact there, they will surely help you out.

    Hi jakobean,

If the card is not listed in system requirements page, it is possible that its not tested yet. Are you facing any issues while using Premiere Pro? If so, please elaborate on the issue.

What is the VRAM of the GPU?

    Thanks,

    Vidya

Thanks for the response. I haven't upgraded yet because of the apparent incompatibility.

Sounds like it may work, even thought it's not listed? You mention that Adobe has not tested it *yet*. Do you think chances are good they'll eventually test it and update that page?

I'm not super knowledgeable around hardware, so wasn't sure how big a deal it is the fact that my hardware is not listed. Just looking for a quick understanding of whether I can upgrade or not.
