Question

AMD Threadripper OR Intel Nvidia for Adobe Creative Cloud?

I'm building a new PC workstation, and am hearing conflicting theories on whether I should stick with Intel because of the software optimization that is biased toward it, or to go with AMD Thread ripper.  Can someone share any advice/knowledge about which of these is the smarter route?  Thank you!

Intel is easier to get predictable information on build combinations, as there's so much new AMD stuff and it's just been in the last year or so that some of the AMD gear is up to par with Intel. And always of interest, frequently at a lower cost.

So ... there are some threads in here on AMD systems, some of which are working fine. Search through the forum, and ask questions. Also, you can get build quotes from Puget Systems, ADK, and SafeHarbor computing ... which can be asked for info on using AMD parts.
