AORUS 1080ti un supported but GeForce GTX 1080ti is?

I've just gotten off a support chat and they informed me that my poor GPU performance in Premiere 2020 is due to the fact my card is not supported. I have the AORUS 1080ti Waterforce. I was then told that the GeForce GTX 1080ti IS supported.... I'm very confused how those are different.

Need some help here. 100% CPU load with 2% GPU utilization.

You failed to mention which CPU you do have. Nor did you mention whether or not any of the effects that you applied make heavy use of the GPU. After all, if you were applying heavy GPU effects, and your CPU is still pegged to maximum while the GPU just sits idly, then you likely have a CPU that's too weak for that GPU.
