Best color grading hardware - still tangent ripple?

I regret having sold my tangent ripple some years ago as it was not compatible to all NLEs back then. Now I am going back to premiere and I need a hardware panel. Is Tangent Ripple still the best option in Premiere? I you really use the tracker balls I think you have to work in the "Match" Lumetri Panel as it offers those corresponting three balls BUT I see the "creative LUT" is placed above this panel. So if I work in SLOG and have to apply a creative LUT AFTER my correction I cannot use this Match-Panel in the same Lumetri Panel and have to apply a second lumetri-effect, is that right? Does this cause any other issues? Some users reported issues when they had two lumetri effects applied..
