Best gpu configuration for edicion 4K and encoding

Hello at all,

I have a question about which better GPU configuration, if someone could clarify the argument I would appreciate it very much.

I have a PC with amd 1950X cpu and a GTX1080 graphics card.

Is it better to buy another GTX 1080 and put the 2 graphics cards in SLI configuration or use a single GTX 1080TI?

Than 2 graphics cards GTX 1080 in SLI configuracion are better of the GTX 1080 TI ?

Please, no SLI. This is because you will not attain anywhere near the combined total amount of RAM of the two cards. In fact, if both of those SLI'd cards each have 8GB of VRAM, you'd still have only 8GB of total VRAM available - the other 8GB merely mirrors the original 8GB and is completely unavailable for use by additional buffering.
