Best laptop (and specs) for smooth Premiere Pro Editing?

Hey everyone,

I am looking into buying a new laptop with the primary purpose being to edit my videos using Premiere Pro. The main goal really is to have a laptop that runs very smoothly. I have had so many issues with other computers and laptops with Premiere Pro randomly closes by itself, the video editing is choppy, playback is atrocious, and overall the experience is just very frustrating.

If you're able, could you give me any advice on solid laptops that don't completely break the bank (probably with a cap of $1,500) that would be good for this? Any info is helpful.
