Best Mac for 3D options in Photoshop & Virtual Reality Video Editing in Premiere Pro

I'm currently using a 2010 MacBook Pro 13 inch and it's time for an upgrade! I've started to work on virtual reality editing in premiere pro and need to use the 3d options in Photoshop (currently greyed out because I don't have enough VRAM).

Work on Premiere Pro and After Effects is way to slow and while this machine served me well as a student, I can't work on this anymore professionally.

I'm thinking about getting the 2017 MacBook Pro 13 inch or the iMac 21.5 inch. I mostly work from home so I don't mind so portability is less of an issue than efficiency and capability to handle multiple programs. I was thinking about the MacBook Pro 15 inch, but it's a tad beyond my budget at this point.

Any advice? :S
