Like Ben M stated. Intel Macs have been completely discontinued for several years now, and the last Intel-powered MacBooks were powered by 10th-Gen Intel CPUs that are now in legacy support status, which means that Apple may depreciate support for them within the next couple of years.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

A mac with an i9 is almost 4 years old at this point and as everything has successfully moved to Mac silicon, your best bet if buying used is to get at least an M1 or newer. It probably goes without saying, but if you are looking to take on more resource intensive tasks like video editing, the more powerful the better. At this point as well, Adobe apps have been updated to work with Mac silicon and the latest OS Sonoma, with the only outstanding bug that I am aware of is Dreamweaver crashing whenever you right click which is a known issue.
